In August 2021, The L.E.G.A.C.Y. Organization (Leading Each Generation Across the Challenges of Yesterday) was founded by two Jackson State University alumni, BeBe Jones and Johnel McIntosh, who shared a dream of giving back to underserved students attending HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).
